A two day journey for guests who want more time in nature and the experience of spending a night inside the rainforest.
Day 1: Enter the Rainforest
Meet your private guide and field team, prepare for the journey and receive your rainforest briefing.
Begin trekking in the morning while your guide introduces you to the forest and looks for signs of orangutans and other wildlife.
Stop for lunch before continuing farther into the rainforest.
During the afternoon, the route can be adapted according to wildlife activity, weather, trail conditions and the pace of your group.
Later, continue toward the selected rainforest camp.
Enjoy dinner prepared by the crew and settle into your first evening surrounded by the sounds of the forest.
Overnight: Rainforest camp
Day 2: Morning Wildlife Exploration & River Return
Wake up in the rainforest and enjoy breakfast prepared by the crew.
After breakfast, continue exploring with your private guide.
Morning provides another opportunity for wildlife tracking, bird watching, rainforest interpretation and observing flora and fauna.
Stop for lunch before beginning the final part of your journey.
Continue toward the river and, when conditions allow, return to Bukit Lawang by Jungle Taxi.

Private transportation can be arranged according to your travel plans.
For guests travelling from Medan, pickup can be arranged from approximately 06:00 when appropriate for the selected itinerary. Pickup from Kualanamu International Airport can also be arranged.
If your flight arrives too late to begin the rainforest journey comfortably, we can coordinate your transfer and accommodation first, with trekking beginning the following morning.
After completing your rainforest experience, onward transportation can also be arranged to your hotel in Bukit Lawang, Medan, Kualanamu International Airport or another destination.

One Night Inside the Rainforest
Spend one night at a rainforest camp prepared by the field crew.
Camping and sleeping arrangements are organized as part of the journey, allowing you to experience the forest after daytime visitors have left.
Meals are prepared by the crew during the rainforest journey. Breakfast is served at camp the following morning, with lunch enjoyed in the forest before the return journey.
Drinking water is provided throughout the experience.
Your First Overnight Rainforest Experience
Expect two days of private exploration and one night surrounded by the rainforest.
The additional time gives you another morning for wildlife tracking and a chance to experience how the atmosphere of the forest changes after sunset and at sunrise.
The pace and route can be adjusted according to your physical condition, interests, weather and wildlife activity.
This is still a natural environment, so wildlife encounters cannot be guaranteed.
