PRIVATE RAINFOREST EXPERIENCES

Choose the Right Rainforest Journey for You

A day in the rainforest offers a very different experience from spending several nights inside it. Choose the duration that fits your time and interests, then let us adapt the journey around your group.

1 Day Private Jungle Trek

A full day for travelers who want an introduction to Bukit Lawang’s rainforest. Trek with your private guide, observe the forest and look for orangutans and other wildlife before returning later in the day.

2 Days Private Jungle Trek

Spend your first night inside the rainforest and continue exploring the following morning. With more time in the field, the journey can move at a calmer pace with additional opportunities for wildlife observation.

3 Days Private Jungle Trek

A deeper rainforest journey with two nights at camp and more time to follow wildlife activity, explore different areas and experience the forest beyond a short visit.

4 Days Private Rainforest Experience

Designed for travelers who want more time away from the village and a slower rhythm in the rainforest. The longer duration allows the route and daily experience to respond more naturally to conditions in the field.

5 Days Private Rainforest Experience

Our longest regular private rainforest journey for guests who want deeper immersion, extended wildlife observation and several days of exploration with changing camp locations along the route.

WHAT PRIVATE MEANS AT AOE

Your Group. Your Pace. Your Experience.

A private trek with Authentic Orangutan Experience means we do not combine unrelated guests simply because they are traveling on the same date. The journey is organized around your own group, with room to adjust the pace, route and activities when conditions allow.

A Pace That Fits Your Group

Walk, pause and rest according to your group’s ability rather than keeping up with strangers.

Flexible in the Field

Weather, wildlife activity, trail conditions and your interests can influence how the day unfolds.

Time to Observe

If something is worth watching, there is room to slow down instead of rushing to the next point on a timetable.
