Day 1: Enter the Rainforest
Meet your guide and field team and prepare for the journey.
Begin trekking into the rainforest while learning about the surrounding environment and looking for signs of wildlife.
Stop for lunch before continuing toward the first rainforest camp.
Enjoy dinner and your first night inside the forest.
Overnight: Rainforest camp
Day 2: Wildlife Tracking & Deeper Exploration
After breakfast, continue deeper into the rainforest.
Spend the morning tracking wildlife and exploring with your private guide.
Stop for lunch and rest before continuing through different rainforest areas.
Later, continue toward another selected camp location.
Overnight: Rainforest camp
Day 3: Extended Field Exploration
Wake up and prepare for another full day in the rainforest.
By this stage, the journey becomes less about covering distance and more about spending meaningful time observing and exploring.
Wildlife enthusiasts may spend longer tracking animals.
Photography focused guests can spend additional time waiting for suitable natural opportunities.
Families can travel at a gentler pace, while more experienced guests may choose a more demanding route when appropriate.
Enjoy lunch before continuing toward the final camp.
Spend your final full evening surrounded by the rainforest.

Day 4: Final Forest Experience & Jungle Taxi
After breakfast, spend your final morning exploring the rainforest.
The experience may include wildlife observation, orangutan tracking, photography and flora and fauna interpretation.
Stop for lunch before beginning the return journey.
Continue toward the river and return to Bukit Lawang by Jungle Taxi when conditions allow.

Private transportation can be arranged according to your travel plans.
For guests travelling from Medan, pickup can be arranged from approximately 06:00 when appropriate for the selected itinerary. Pickup from Kualanamu International Airport can also be arranged.
If your flight arrives too late to begin the rainforest journey comfortably, we can coordinate your transfer and accommodation first, with trekking beginning the following morning.
After completing your rainforest experience, onward transportation can also be arranged to your hotel in Bukit Lawang, Medan, Kualanamu International Airport or another destination.

Three Nights Deeper in the Rainforest
Spend three nights at rainforest camps along the journey.
Rather than using one fixed camp throughout the experience, overnight locations can change depending on the selected route and field conditions.
The field crew prepares the relevant camping, sleeping and cooking arrangements while also managing food and water logistics.
Meals are prepared throughout the journey, including breakfast at camp, rainforest lunches and evening meals during overnight days.
Drinking water is provided during the expedition.
More Time to Follow the Forest
Expect a longer and more immersive private rainforest journey.
With four days available, there is more freedom to slow down when something is worth observing, spend additional time on photography or wildlife interests, or adapt the pace for families and different physical abilities.
The experience is not about completing a fixed distance as quickly as possible.
Routes, timing and camp locations may change as conditions in the rainforest change.
