Three days provide more time to move beyond the introductory trails and experience different areas of the rainforest at a slower pace.
Day 1: Rainforest Entry & First Camp
Meet your private guide and field team before entering the rainforest.
Spend the morning exploring and looking for signs of orangutans and other wildlife.
Stop for lunch before continuing deeper into the forest.
Later in the afternoon, reach the selected rainforest camp and settle in for the evening.
Overnight: Rainforest camp
Day 2: Deeper Rainforest Exploration
Wake up in the rainforest and enjoy breakfast.
Continue through the forest with your private guide while looking for wildlife activity and learning more about the rainforest ecosystem.
The experience may include orangutan tracking, bird watching, flora identification, insects, reptiles and photography.
Stop for lunch and take time to rest.
During the afternoon, continue through selected rainforest areas. Depending on conditions, the journey may include streams, natural forest formations, vegetation, wildlife habitats or quieter observation areas.
Continue toward a new camp location.
Enjoy dinner and another night inside the rainforest.
Overnight: Rainforest camp
Day 3: Final Exploration & River Journey
After breakfast, enjoy your final morning of rainforest exploration.
Continue wildlife tracking and take time to observe the wider forest ecosystem rather than focusing on only one species.
Stop for lunch before beginning the return route.
Continue toward the river and return to Bukit Lawang by Jungle Taxi when conditions allow.

Private transportation can be arranged according to your travel plans.
For guests travelling from Medan, pickup can be arranged from approximately 06:00 when appropriate for the selected itinerary. Pickup from Kualanamu International Airport can also be arranged.
If your flight arrives too late to begin the rainforest journey comfortably, we can coordinate your transfer and accommodation first, with trekking beginning the following morning.
After completing your rainforest experience, onward transportation can also be arranged to your hotel in Bukit Lawang, Medan, Kualanamu International Airport or another destination.

Two Nights in the Rainforest
Spend two nights at rainforest camps prepared by the field crew.
Camp locations may change as the journey progresses, allowing the group to continue through different parts of the forest instead of returning to the same location each night.
The crew manages the relevant camping, sleeping and cooking arrangements.
Meals are prepared during the journey, with breakfast at camp, lunch in the rainforest and dinner at camp according to the daily program.
Drinking water is provided throughout the experience.
A Deeper Rainforest Journey
Expect more time away from the village and more opportunity to experience different parts of the rainforest.
Three days allow the journey to move at a slower pace, with additional time for wildlife tracking, observation, photography and rainforest interpretation.
You may camp in different locations as the route develops.
Exact routes remain flexible and can change according to weather, trail conditions, wildlife activity, group pace and safety.
